Assistant Manager DUNDEE



At Superdrug we place great importance on developing the talent within our business and as an Assistant Manager you will be embarking on the route to managing your own store - and that timeline will only depend on you!



As you would expect, being part of the management team of a busy store is a responsible position, one that supports the delivery of the store's Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), both people management and people development, maintaining and further developing the high store merchandising standards as well as delivering and reinforcing our well known brand values to our customers



We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work alongside the Store manager in a supporting role with real hands on experience.



Duties include:



• Supporting the Store Manager in the day to day running of the store

• Supporting the Store Manager to drive the store KPIs

• Drives store sales and promote the Superdrug

• Ensure the store is consistently merchandised to the highest possible standards

• Supporting the Store Manager to recruit and develop talent

• Leading and driving a customer service focused environment





Relevant Skills and Work Experience required

• Relevant retail experience gained in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Experience of supervising a team/department/store

• Good understanding of core KPI’s, including shrinkage, wages and customer service.

• Understanding of the store P&L is desirable.

• Demonstrates their experience and knowledge of people and performance management.

• Passion for exceptional service is key, demonstrating ability to work and drive results in an active selling experience.

• Possesses a good basic level of maths and English skills – ideally educated to GCSE level or higher.
